Bridging Ancient Wisdom with Our Future
This is the ground floor of Master Khaleghl Quinn’s center in London from (1990 -1997). She designed it to be a venue of beauty, inspiration and peace. Besides the marketing suggested reference to her name, she preferred to focus on the Latin root of quin, meaning five, essence, and pure, and do meaning “the way of” in Japanese. Quindo is the practice of the five qualities: Awareness, Inner Strength, Confidence, Safety and Fulfillment. The center had over 5.000 people who attended from all walks of life including children, artists, film stars, politicians, and members of the Royal families throughout Europe. People would come from distances just to take in the atmosphere and sit peacefully on the rugs.
The Burgh House, London - Khaleghl Quinn concert 1989
‘In a fractured world where environmental constraints, economic uncertainty and the ever-looming specter of inequality can shape daily moods and drain one of a sense of confidence and self worth, I take great pleasure in offering my inside-out empowering services that started when I was quite young. I am aware that my story can sound like a naive child though, like most of us, I have not been without pain and trauma. A very difficult birth, dealing with all of the social -isms, the recent loss of my beloved mother, and in 2003 I miraculously survived an automobile accident having been hit at seventy miles an hour by a distracted truck driver. There is the choice to ‘remain in the mud’ or ‘become the lotus.’
My inner strength and clarity was first expressed in church when I was five years old. I went up to the minister when he said “God loves you ... so fear God.” I pulled away from my parents’ attempt to restrain me, walked up to the minister and asked why we should be afraid of God if we were loved? I demanded to be baptized that evening stating that I wanted to be ‘an instrument of the God who loves.’ Children are usually not baptized in the Southern Baptist church until the age of eight but my will to become an instrument of God was so strong I was baptized that night. This critical clarifying distinction between spirituality and religion has been the guiding star of my life. I am a spiritual person. This means that I choose to live my life motivated by love and peace and according to what brings me greater freedom to be who I truly am, what my Creator gifted me to be...my Greater Essence Self. Knowing that consciousness is contagious in the field, I have fashioned my skills from philosophy, psychology, martial arts, bioenergetics, meditation, motivational astrology, music and my life purpose to help others remain centered in their life purpose. This ideology is at the heart of my offerings.
